eehh...

i got super frustrated over some work today, i wish i could just have Nakamura san sits like next door and i can just ask him for advice or something. i restarted 3 times and the shot still looks weird, i mean hes like in his 40 or something no way i can match what he can do, so theres no use killing my brain over "how does he do that stuff?" maybe i should just save that car for study in japan for a year or two.  its difficult to figure out even 30% of the technique they use on my own, then try to make it work at the same time meeting dead lines doing something different every time... looks easy, but its damn hard.

i also happened to meet people from either disney, pixar or dreamworks once a while, they can all draw cartoons super well and make good living too. i wonder if my stuff is just too off from the general cartoon vibe, gets confusing to what i really wanna do?? (do i fit in??) these guys work on FEATURES!! isnt that more complicated? i like to think that a great animator can make anything look awesome even if its a commercial on youtube... recognition sure is nice though... but i rather sit down and doing something to satisfy myself instead of impressing anyone.
